yesterday morning we went for strawberries picking (PYO -pick ur own fruits) at a farm in derbyshire...Scaddows Farm :) we arrived there around 9.40 am (before than we went to Derby carboot - me sempat beli dress, crystal bowls, deco candles ;)
the farm is located at Ticknall to be exact -countryside ..so the journey there reminds us of our visit to Fraser's Hills..the colonial design houses all along the way, most of the houses have their own gardens, with big2 roses blooming...very fantastic scenary..
the experience is indeed awesome!! best sgt dpt pilih2 and pick any strawberries that we want..
the farm is pretty large...and many visitors like us to..bz picking2 strawberries..
the green, paper basket is priced 27p..
the best part, after weighing, the strawberries that we picked is just priced GBP 2.38..very cheap!! mkn tak abis ni..me and ariff je yg suka mkn strawberries...hubby+zharfan just tlg2 pick jer, tak suka mkn!
strawberries here are soooo sweet in taste!!
ariff still not fully recovered from his chicken pox..so pic ariff memang obvious kat muka dia all those breakouts-cian sgt anak mama ni...
we all singgah jugak kat Scaddows Cafe near the farm..all homegrown product sold here :)
