Being a mom with a lil baby in UK is lovely...

Being a developed country, UK gives lots of benefits to their residents who, are entitled to it (like those disabled, senior citizens, single parents, those unemployed etc)...
and Alhamdulillah, me and family is entitled to free medical service under National Health Service (NHS), which means that me got medical treatment & medicines for free...this medical stuff is pretty expensive if me not entitled to this benefit...and me have been using this free service ever since me & family arrived here..

This morning, me brought my lil Ariff for heatlh review by the health visitor (mcm nurse lah kat Msia) at Mary Potter Medical Centre, which is just 5 min drive away from our home..
kena review/check coz Ariff has just turned one year old...so dh timbang..now Ariff weighs 9.72 kg, and his height is 72 cm :)

 ni latest pic of Ariff...tu mulut penuh- tgh chewing/mkn epal, tak leh smile bila Mama suruh pose nak snap pic :p

the best part, both Ariff & Zharfan dpt free goodies like toothbrush, toothpaste, sippy cup, and dpt jugak free books under scheme Book Start (ni mcm subsidi buku), so kids akan dpt free book depending on their age...how nice :)

o yess, the weather is hot, sunny today...me like it!!! sukanya summer :) :)

tomorrow me plan to bring my kids for teddy bear picnic at Sure Start Centre ie kids development unit under Mary Potter Health Centre :) me nak bwk my disney pooh yg me menang the other day, sbb my boys mana ada teddy bear of their own :p

A misty, cold summer day....and a final goodbye...

It is now summer time in UK, but the days have been cold, cloudy, wet, occassional rain...
except for the 2 days last two weeks, where the sun shone brightly , giving the heat, making it the hot days more or less like the one in Msia...yess...hot... very much missed by me (ssb dh biasa cuaca panas kan..)

so not sure when the hot days will be coming again..
and me is planning to go for PYO...what is that??
-->>Pick Your Own Fruit...like strawberries, berries @ fruit farms all over UK, but the activities can only be done on hot summer days...it's gonna be a new experience for me...I know kat Msia (Cameron Highlands) ada jugak PYO ni at few strawberries farm..tp kat sini it's much more fun coz the fruits are bigger, redder (like strawbereris), juicer, and the farm is sooo big one!! ni all info from my frens yg dh pernah buat aktiviti ni last year, and even this year pun, at certain part of UK, but at Nottingham, from the site, PYO will start late June...rasa tak sbr plak...:p :p

and...about my damaged digicam...I guess I'm saying the final goodbye, coz after few queries about the cost of repairs, the cheapest that I can get is around £76..which is beyond my budget...kat sini harga new digicam around £35 above depending on the brand..

after all, my new digicam will be in my hands soon, in few days time (I suruh adik i kirim my new digicam thru my supervisor yg akan dtg sini esok :)

so to my dear Sony Cybershot DSC P-10, good bye my dear..it's all my fault and negligence..dh tersurat akhirnya rosak sbb my carelessness...me syg sgt camera ni...sbb byk sentimental value...the damage is done...a very good lesson for me to be extra careful with all my electronic gadgets in the future...
